SnapTidy

Terms

Last updated 31 August 2026

These terms cover your use of the SnapTidy application and this website. By using either, you agree to them.

Status of the product

SnapTidy is in development. It is not currently available to download or to buy, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Descriptions here reflect what the application is being built to do, and details may change before release.

Licence

When SnapTidy is released, a purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the application on computers you own or control, for as long as you comply with these terms. You may not redistribute it, resell it, or attempt to defeat its licensing.

Your files are your responsibility

SnapTidy moves and renames files on your computer. It records every action it takes so that moves can be reversed, and it is built to fail safely — but no software is perfect, and file systems can fail for reasons outside any application’s control. Keep backups of anything you cannot afford to lose, and satisfy yourself that the application behaves as you expect before pointing it at important documents.

No warranty

The application is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the application or this website will not exceed the amount you paid for the application. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.

Ending the licence

The licence ends if you breach these terms. You may stop using the application and uninstall it at any time.
